<p>Job Description</p> <p>Description</p> <p>SAIC is seeking a Material Coordinator to support the USMC at our Hanahan, SC location. This position is 100% on- site.</p> <p>Candidate will perform a wide spectrum of tasks associated with shipping and receiving, inventory, and logistics support. These tasks include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Assist with inventory tracking, staging, packing, storage, and shipping tasks to include palletizing, wrapping, banding. </li><li>Ability to perform material picks to fulfill work orders/kitting for equipment builds, test, and shipment as directed. </li><li>Use of database inventory management and bar coding systems to maintain accurate inventory records of material receipt, movement, and shipping. </li><li>Ability to unpack and verify the accuracy of shipments by checking for discrepancies, and reporting non-conformance. </li><li>May be required to assist in performing technical work, which may include but is not limited to performance of periodic preventive maintenance operations on equipment. Requires the ability to learn and apply established methods, procedures, and techniques from various equipment manuals or work instructions. </li><li>Assist in planning, coordinating, and conducting logistics projects as assigned. </li><li>Assist with inventory metrics tracking and weekly logistics reporting. </li><li>General understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM), and drawings. </li><li>Assistance in research and development of equipment related documentation (Marine Corps Stock List (SL-3's, Technical Manuals, Parts Lists). </li><li>Ability to perform program document reviews and provide recommendations to resolve deficiencies. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or GED. </li><li>Two (2) years of warehouse experience, to include: performing inventory, staging, packing, storage and shipping of electronic equipment and related material; operating motor vehicles and material handling equipment; and utilizing a computer-based inventory and bar coding system for entry, identification and tracking of material. </li><li>Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a secret security clearance. </li></ul> <p>SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.</p> <p>Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters.
