As part of our mission, our Walk-In/Urgent Care Clinic offers same-day access for acute illnesses, minor injuries, and urgent medical needs-bridging the gap between primary care and the ER.</p> <p>We are seeking an experienced Physician (MD/DO) or Nurse Practitioner who thrives in a fast-paced, team-based environment and is committed to compassionate, evidence-based care.</p> <p>WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING</p> <p>The Urgent Care Clinician evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients of all ages with acute, non-emergent conditions in a walk-in primary care setting. You will work closely with nursing, behavioral health, and specialty care staff to ensure timely, integrated care.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for acute illnesses and minor injuries </li><li>Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, EKGs) </li><li>Perform minor procedures (e.g., wound care, suturing, splinting, abscess drainage) </li><li>Manage urgent primary care needs </li><li>Coordinate follow-up care and referrals as needed </li><li>Document care in the EMR accurately and promptly </li><li>Support health promotion and patient education </li><li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary care team members </li><li>Participate in quality improvement and infection control initiatives </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Physician: MD or DO with unrestricted license, Board Certified/Eligible in Family or Internal Medicine, active DEA/Controlled Substance Registration </li><li>Nurse Practitioner: Master's degree, current NP license and certification, active DEA/Controlled Substance Registration </li><li>BLS/CPR Certification (ACLS preferred) </li><li>Strong clinical skills in acute care and primary care settings </li><li>Ability to manage patients of all ages </li><li>Comfort working with diverse and underserved populations </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Urgent care, ER, or primary care experience </li><li>Experience with EMR systems (i.e. EPIC) </li></ul> <p>What We Offer:</p> <ul> <li>Competitive salary with sign-on bonus </li><li>Generous paid time off and CME allowance </li><li>Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, retirement plan with match) </li><li>Malpractice coverage (FTCA) </li><li>Loan repayment program eligibility (HRSA, PSLF) </li><li>Collaborative and mission-driven work environment </li></ul> <p>Work Schedule:</p> <ul> <li>Flexible shifts during clinic hours </li><li>No overnight shifts </li></ul> <p>Don't wait!
