<p>Apply</p> <p>Job Type</p> <p>Full-time</p> <p>Description</p> <p>The Employment Dept collaborates with businesses, state agencies, educational institutions, and community organizations to provide vocational, pre-vocational, and educational services throughout the Capital Region. The Manager of Employment Services will provide support, guidance, and training to Employment Department staff though one-on-one supervision. The Manager will also assist the Director and Assistant Director in evaluating staff efficiency ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. In addition to supervisory responsibilities, this role also includes several administrative and documentation-related tasks.</p> <p>In this role you will:</p> <p>Staff Supervision & Development</p> <ul> <li>Ensure the delivery of high-quality services through staff training and continuous evaluation. </li><li>Ensure completion of Staff Action Plans and Addendums for all SEMP clients. </li><li>Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training new employment services staff. </li><li>Provide ongoing supervision, troubleshooting, and support for assigned staff. </li><li>Assist with creating and maintaining an engaged and supportive team culture. </li></ul> <p>Program Management, Evaluation, & Service Delivery</p> <ul> <li>Review and approve OPWDD documentation, ensuring timely and accurate billing (Monthly Summaries, Case Notes, Discovery, Staff Action Plans). </li><li>Assist with development of caseloads </li><li>Manage referrals and complete intakes as needed </li><li>Evaluate staff through completion of time studies </li></ul> <p>Compliance & Reporting</p> <ul> <li>Assist in tracking and reporting program metrics and impact </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Degree or training in related field and experience working with individuals with disabilities in an employment-related capacity required. Preference for Bachelors degree or higher. Preference for two years experience. </li><li>Proven supervisory experience, including staff training and evaluation </li><li>Strong leadership and team management skills. </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Valid driver's license and reliable transportation </li><li>Case management experience. </li><li>Preferred experience Knowledge of and experience with OPWDD HCBS Medicaid Waiver and Adult Career & Continuing Education Services - Vocational Rehabilitation (ACCES-VR) </li></ul> <p>Salary Description</p> <p>$31 an hour</p>
