These projects involve the utilization of multiple types of Big Data and advanced statistical methods in studying a variety of issues related to HIV and other health conditions, including but not limited to, community resilience, racial/ethnic disparities of HIV care continuum outcomes, transition of pediatric-to-adult HIV care, HIV associated comorbidities, aging, synthetic data generation.</p> <p>Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience</p> <p>Requires a Doctoral (Ph.D.) degree in area of research specialty.</p> <p>Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Doctoral (Ph.D.) degree in biostatistics, bioinformatics, or other relevant public health fields </li><li>Experience in analyzing various data, including but not limited to, electronic health records data, public health surveillance data, public health program implementation data, behavioral intervention and data from diverse sources </li><li>Proficiency in statistical and computational languages (SQL, SAAS, R, Python, etc.), skills </li><li>Knowledge of both traditional statistical analysis (e.g., logistic regression, Cox proportional regression model, Poisson regression model) and Big Data analytics (e.g., machine learning, artificial intelligence [AI], text mining, generative AI) </li></ul> <p>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities</p> <p>Ability to take initiative and work independently, high standard of work ethic, effective oral and written communication skills.</p> <p>Job Duties</p> <p>Job Duty</p> <p>Design, analyze, and interpret data for scientific research and able to generate readable reports and results.
