This leadership role ensures robust security measures are in place to mitigate cyber threats, maintain regulatory compliance, and support business continuity in a fast-paced consumer goods manufacturing environment.</p> <p>Key Duties & Responsibilities</p> <p>Cybersecurity & Technology Protection</p> <ul> <li>Develop and execute the company's cybersecurity strategy </li><li>Oversee cybersecurity tools, firewalls, endpoint protection, and SIEM solutions </li><li>Secure cloud, network, and manufacturing systems, including IoT and third-party vendors </li><li>Lead cybersecurity teams in identifying and mitigating threats </li></ul> <p>Incident Response & Risk Management</p> <ul> <li>Develop and manage an enterprise-wide incident response plan </li><li>Lead investigations and remediation efforts for security breaches </li><li>Conduct security drills to improve organizational readiness </li><li>Participate in the Enterprise Risk Committee </li></ul> <p>Security Management, Compliance, & Policy Governance</p> <ul> <li>Develop and execute security strategies aligned with business objectives </li><li>Design, write, and implement corporate technology security policies across the Americas </li><li>Align information security programs with regulatory requirements and risk frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, HIPAA, SOX, etc.) </li><li>Translate complex technical requirements into clear, enforceable policies that drive resilience and compliance </li><li>Oversee security teams, hiring, training, and performance management </li><li>Ensure ongoing compliance with industry regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, CCPA) </li><li>Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies </li><li>Monitor security operations and respond to incidents </li></ul> <p>Training and Awareness</p> <ul> <li>Develop cybersecurity awareness programs for employees to foster a security-first culture </li><li>Provide training to both technical and non-technical teams on security best practices </li></ul> <p>Reporting and IT Leadership</p> <ul> <li>Define and report on information security metrics </li><li>Conduct security briefings to management </li><li>Oversee Vulnerability and Patch Management reporting back to BIL's CSIRT </li><li>Lead and develop team members </li><li>Point of contact for Americas BIL Security Initiatives </li><li>Manage incident response for cybersecurity events </li></ul> <p>Key Experience & Qualifications</p> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science or related field </li><li>Master's degree (or equivalent experience) in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field - Preferred </li></ul> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li>10+ years of a combination of experience spanning the following areas: </li><li>Experience in establishing cybersecurity and risk metrics for reporting </li><li>Experience with budget development and administration, policy development and implementation, personnel administration, & staff training and development </li><li>Hands-on experience with security operations, network security, and cloud security </li><li>5+ years of experience in a leadership role </li></ul> <p>Licenses & Certifications</p> <ul> <li>Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) - Preferred </li><li>Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification - Preferred </li></ul> <p>Software/Technical Skills</p> <ul> <li>Advanced knowledge of Security Frameworks such as CIS Top 20 or NIST </li><li>Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Entra Security Outlook </li></ul> <p>Other Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines </li><li>Ability to apply logic modeling / mapping to decision-making process </li><li>Strong organizational and project management skills </li><li>Ability to present information to diverse audiences </li><li>Ability to develop and coach team members </li><li>Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills </li><li>Knowledge of policy development and administration </li><li>Knowledge of risk assessment and management </li></ul> <p>Compensation & Schedule for This Role</p> <p>This role will be a hybrid role. Subject to business needs, employees may work remotely up to two days per week. Assigned office days will be determined by managers. #LI-Hybrid</p> <ul> <li></li><li>The salary (or hiring) range for this position is $190,000 - $210,000 per year </li><li>Starting salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location, and alignment with market data </li><li>This position is eligible to participate in the relevant Brother variable pay incentive plan(s). This location houses key corporate functions, including HR, legal, finance, IT, and supply chain, and a significant presence of our business unit leadership and marketing teams. Our manufacturing and distribution facility in Bartlett, TN spans an impressive 1.5 million square feet - equivalent to 26 football fields - and is located on Brother Boulevard. In addition to the distribution center operations team, this facility hosts several other departments, including our customer service group. Brother also has employees based in other locations, such as Westminster, CO, where many of our marketing and product engineering team members from the mobile solutions division operate, as well as our distribution centers in Richmond, VA and Perris, CA.
