<p>Position Overview</p> <p>The Accounts Payable Senior Coordinator is responsible for the accurate and timely payment of assigned vendors in accordance with company policies and procedures as well as government laws and regulations in a high volume, fast paced, time-sensitive environment. This includes but is not limited to accumulating the proper payment documents, review of documents for completeness and accuracy, payment of the verified documents within prescribed time period. Also, responsible for manually matching invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents and entering data from all matched invoices and/or write debits where applicable. In addition, this position is required to thoroughly understand the departmental policies, processes, and procedures, assist with cross training other A/P staff, and perform special projects for the Management team.</p> <p>A Day In The Life</p> <ul> <li> <p>Perform all daily accounts payable functions in all aspects of Expense accounts payable including preparation and filing of required reports and payments to all vendors, organizations, and employees, including manually matching invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents and enter data from all matched invoices and/or write debits where applicable; ensures timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers and maintains accurate records and control reports</p> </li><li> <p>Review and research vendor disputes, statements and old invoices to resolve issues</p> </li><li> <p>Identify and recommend process improvement initiatives and monitoring controls within functional area and escalate and resolve issues proactively.</p> </li><li> <p>Reviews and maintains system procedures and policies around accounts payable functions to ensure adherence to company guidelines and monitor SOX compliance for all processes and procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Develop and maintain partner relationships with vendor community, business units and corporate stakeholders.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepares monthly reporting deliverables for management use.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform any additional duties requested by management</p> </li></ul> <p>You'll Come With</p> <p>Education:</p> <p>High school diploma required - Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting preferred.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Considerable knowledge of accounts payable operations with large ERP AP system experience, familiarity with an automated invoice workflow approval process</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to effectively communicate with management, peers, and external parties</p> </li><li> <p>Strategic Thinker who is adaptable to change</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work within deadlines and utilize resources to meet those deadlines</p> </li><li> <p>Understanding of business, accounting, and accounts payable policies</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to take direction and implement changes</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to adapt to changing business environment</p> </li><li> <p>Understanding of and adherence to control procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Oracle R12 and/or Oracle Purchasing, Teams and other reporting tools</p> </li><li> <p>3-5 years of experience is preferred</p> </li></ul> <p>#LI-ED2</p> <p>Come join our team.
