<p>Job Description</p> <p>Infosys is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer(Azure), the candidate will be a key player at onsite, sitting along with client and working effectively to ensure the first time outsourced operation support is properly running. As SRE Lead he will discuss with client counterpart for further improvement in cloud infrastructure by evaluating and making recommendations. Also provide the required support to SRE team at Offshore.</p> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Ann Arbor, MI or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US. </li><li>Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. </li><li>At least 7 years of Information Technology experience. </li><li>Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time. </li><li>At least 4 years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure Management. </li><li>At least 5 years of experience in SRE and related technologies. </li><li>Multi cloud knowledge is good but should have very good knowledge in Azure Cloud. </li><li>Good working knowledge in ITIL process and cloud support. </li><li>Hands-on development of monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks (Grafana, Prometheus, etc.). </li><li>Lead incident response, SLO/SLI strategy, and toil reduction through automation. </li><li>Strong experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code. </li><li>Collaborate with dev teams to embed reliability into architecture. </li><li>Good knowledge in IaC (Terraform). </li><li>Strong trouble shooting, problem solving, analytical and design skills. </li><li>Good knowledge on SHELL Scripting, UNIX Commands. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent Communications and client interaction skills along with exceptional written and verbal skills as well as technical documentation. </li><li>Planning, Coordination, and Analytical skills. </li><li>Hands-on experience in working in Global Delivery Model with onsite/offshore resources </li><li>Ability to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently. </li><li>Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment. </li></ul> <p>The job entails an extensive amount of travel. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.</p>
