<p>Job Description:</p> <p>The School of Health, Wellness and Human Services invites applications for Lab Assistant in the Surgical Technology program. Lab Assistants instruct students during their Surgical Technology Laboratory courses at Onondaga Community College.</p> <p>MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Monitor and assist instruction of students in laboratory settings. </li><li>Assist in planning and execution of weekly lab skills activities. </li><li>Assess students' skills, knowledge and behavior in the lab setting. </li><li>Communicate with lab instructor, program coordinator. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Active Certification as a Surgical Technologist with a minimum of three years of experience within the last five years. </li><li>General comfort with digital technology, including basic troubleshooting and navigating digital tools. </li></ul> <p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). </li><li>Demonstrated connections with local healthcare organizations. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <ul> <li>Adjunct rate of pay for the 25/26 academic year is $49.24 hourly.
