<p>Alliance Building Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong supervisory skills and a thorough understanding of maintenance operations within a unionized environment. This role requires excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our maintenance staff.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of maintenance staff. </li><li>Manage and prioritize work orders, ensuring timely completion. </li><li>Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. </li><li>Prepare and submit detailed reports on maintenance activities and staff performance. </li><li>Schedule and oversee routine maintenance and repair work. </li><li>Implement and enforce progressive discipline procedures in accordance with union guidelines. </li><li>Train and mentor new and existing maintenance staff. </li><li>Communicate effectively with team members, management, and clients via email and other channels. </li><li>Ensure all maintenance activities are documented accurately and promptly. </li><li>Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and address any maintenance-related issues. </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Proven experience as a Foreman or similar supervisory role in a maintenance environment. </li><li>Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures, equipment, and safety regulations. </li><li>Excellent organizational and leadership skills. </li><li>Proficiency in using email, preparing reports, and managing work orders. </li><li>Ability to conduct thorough inspections and identify potential issues. </li><li>Experience with scheduling and coordinating maintenance activities. </li><li>Familiarity with progressive discipline procedures within a unionized workforce. </li><li>Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. </li><li>Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team. </li><li>Additional technical training or certifications are a plus. </li></ul> <p>This is a 32 BJ Union Position with Benefits</p>
