This position is accountable for the Profit & Loss for its location and contributes to the overall profits of the company.</p> <p>Duties and responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Develop long-term business relationships with our customers to help promote sales growth and </li><li>gain acceptance </li><li>Identify prospective/future customers through store or phone sales and communicate prospects to </li></ul> <p>corporate sales leadership.</p> <ul> <li>Plan, coordinate, and direct operational activities for the branch. </li><li>Develop and manage annual branch operations to ensure profitability </li><li>Develop and implement a fiscal year branch sales plan with regional manager or general manager to </li></ul> <p>include specific plan for top ten customers.</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for maximizing gross profit through customer price schedules </li><li>Supervision of all employees; includes recruiting and hiring, planning and scheduling work, </li></ul> <p>assigning work, performance evaluations, salary adjustments, promotions, coaching, & discipline.</p> <ul> <li>Work with outside sales managers to ensure competitive pricing while maintaining acceptable </li></ul> <p>profit margins</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for branch inventory from daily cycle counts to annual physical inventory and work </li></ul> <p>with corporate inventory managers as necessary</p> <p>o Recommend branch stock levels, check inventory for excess, damaged and obsolete products.
