Bonide stands tall as a recognized and respected industry leader, reflecting the trust and admiration we have earned from gardening enthusiasts across the country!</p> <p>Role Summary</p> <p>The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain functions, including procurement, demand and supply planning, inventory management and shipping logistics. This role will lead a team of four direct reports - Purchasing Manager, Supply Planner, Demand Planner and Shipping Manager - to ensure efficient , cost-effective, and reliable supply chain operations. Initially, operations will be centralized in Oriskany, New York, with an expansion planned in late 2025 to include a second distribution center in the Southeast or Midwest.</p> <p>Duties and responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with Bonide's operational goals and long-term growth objectives. </li><li>Lead and mentor a team of four direct reports, fostering collaboration and accountability. </li><li>Oversee procurement, demand planning, supply planning, and shipping operations to optimize costs and service levels. </li><li>Ensure accurate demand forecasting and inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize disruptions. </li><li>Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain efficiency and continuous improvement. </li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Finance to support business objectives. </li><li>Drive process improvements and leverage technology to enhance supply chain visibility and responsiveness. </li><li>Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with quality and service expectations. </li><li>Plan and execute the transition to a multi-site distribution model, ensuring seamless integration of the new facility. </li><li>Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety requirements related to supply chain and logistics operations. </li><li>Additional duties as required. </li></ul> <p>Skills and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Proven Leadership experience with direct team management responsibilities. </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in demand forecasting, inventory management and logistics. </li><li>Knowledge of ERP Systems, supply chain software and data analytics tools. </li><li>Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. </li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment. </li><li>Experience in managing supply chain expansions or multi-site operations is a plus. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, Operations or a related field; MBA or APICS certification is a plus. </li><li>7+ years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the consumer products, manufacturing, or distribution industries. </li></ul> <p>An essential element of Bonide culture is our commitment to diversity.
