<p>Key Roles & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for posting payments, adjustments, and forwarding balances to secondary or self-pay status. </li><li>Printing insurance claim forms for mailing when necessary. </li><li>Verification of the patient's account number, name, voucher number, and date of service to ensure payments are being applied to the correct accounts. </li><li>Notifies RCM Manager of any issues related to payment posting, adjustments, or denials. </li><li>Reconciliation of all completed posting batches. </li><li>Ensures strict confidentiality of client records. </li><li>Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of insurance carrier payment policies and practices. </li><li>Logical and efficient with a keen attention to detail. </li><li>The ability to prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure. </li><li>Excellent listening and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Experience working in a team-oriented environment. </li><li>Flexible to handle unexpected daily challenges. </li><li>Ability to use a 10 key by touch. </li><li>High school diploma or GED required. </li></ul>
