<p>This Opportunity</p> <p>WSP is currently initiating a search for an Assistant Project Manager for our Glastonbury, CT office. Be involved in projects with our CM Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client's objectives and solves their challenges.</p> <p>Your Impact</p> <ul> <li>Assist the Project Manager to manage daily construction administration and inspection for building or facility project which includes: </li><li>Responsible for record keeping, correspondence, compiling and delivering of required reports. </li><li>Attend various project meetings, record and distribute meeting minutes. </li><li>Provide daily oversight of contractor work activities, assist in coordinating inspections. </li><li>Prepare daily reports and verify percentage of completion for Payment Applications in accordance with client requirements. </li><li>Assist in coordination with the designer to respond to Contractors' submittals, RFI's and shop drawings. </li><li>Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures. </li><li>Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP"s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies. </li></ul> <p>Who You Are</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Construction Mangement </li><li>Past construction experience preferred </li><li>7-10 years experience in building construction or transit related projects as a resident engineer </li><li>Ability to review construction drawings, CSI specifications, shop drawings, contractor schedules, permit and inspection requirements </li><li>Strong oral and written communication skills </li><li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite particularly Word, Excel </li><li>Working knowledge of e-builder is a plus </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>OSHA 10 Hour Certification </li></ul> <p>#LI-DS1</p>
