Here, you'll have the opportunity to grow your career and help build a better energy future-for everyone.</p> <p>Primary Purpose</p> <p>This position delivers specialized protective security operations for executives and high-profile individuals, including complex travel coordination and risk mitigation strategies. It also conducts detailed threat analysis, implements contingency plans, and ensures seamless integration of protective measures across multiple environments and jurisdictions.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Performs detailed threat analysis report/operational plan for routes, destinations, travel, or executive specific sites. </li><li>Advises on contingency planning for emergencies or unexpected disruptions. </li><li>Prepares pre and post-operation reports summarizing security performance, contingency response and risks mitigation planning. </li><li>Provides mentorship to junior technicians on protective strategies and best practices. </li><li>Assists with specialized training, tracking training attendance, and developing and delivering training programs to other personnel. </li><li>Develops and maintains a business partner network, serving as a liaison to local and federal law enforcement agencies as well as private security partners. </li><li>Maintains a level of physical fitness necessary to provide effective protection to executives and employees during critical incidents. </li><li>Leads the execution of complex secured transportation or other security support for the CEO, senior executives and designated employees. </li><li>Conducts advance site visits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigations. </li><li>Oversees implementation of layered security measures during travel, transport, and/or while attending special events or meetings. </li><li>Coordinates with local law enforcement or contracted security for additional support. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Bachelor's degree is preferred. </li></ul> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li>Typically requires 3 years of related experience. </li><li>4 years of law enforcement experience, or equivalent work experience conducting dignitary or direct executive protection is preferred. </li></ul> <p>Skills and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Business Security Management - The processes undertaken to protect an organization's assets. </li><li>Security Risk Management - The ongoing process of identifying security risks and implementing plans to address them. </li><li>Regulatory Compliance - Ensuring an organization's adherence to laws, regulations, guidelines and specifications relevant to its business processes. </li><li>Policy Design & Development - The process of creating and formalizing policies and procedures to guide an organization's practices and ensure compliance with standards and regulations. </li><li>Threat Monitoring - The process of systematically observing, analyzing and assessing potential risks, vulnerabilities and malicious activities within a system, network or physical environment in order to identify and respond to potential threats and then maintain the integrity and security of the targeted entity. </li><li>Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Management - The systematic approach to maintain health and safety at occupation and protect the environment. </li><li>Business Continuity Planning - Develop internal infrastructure to ensure organizational resilience and maintenance of the availability, stability and integrity of critical systems, processes and stakeholders that support and drive key aspects of the business. This includes the planning, designing and testing contingency plans and setting up internal systems and structures which are ready to respond to potential threats and maintain desired levels of continuity. </li><li>Physical Security Management - Implements, improves and maintains the protection of people, property and physical assets of an organization. </li><li>Case Management & Investigation - The process an organization uses to handle, route, resolve, and report on conflicts or issues. </li><li>Effectively using computer software and applications platforms to perform administrative duties such as timecard management, reporting data, expense reports, and communications is preferred. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to lift or drag items weighing 50-100 pounds across a distance of 5 yards. </li><li>Must be able to sit or stand continuously while maintaining alertness and situational awareness for extended durations. </li><li>Must be able to perform duties effectively in wet conditions, high noise levels, environmental hazards, sudden temperature changes, and varying atmospheric conditions. </li><li>Must be able to safely and independently enter and exit vehicles multiple times during a shift, including during time-sensitive or emergency situations. </li><li>Must be able to navigate various terrains, climb stairs, and move quickly to respond to incidents. </li><li>Must successfully complete and pass all required physical assessments, post offer. </li></ul> <p>Licenses</p> <ul> <li>Valid California driver license is required. Must possess a safe driving record including no chargeable accidents or violations over the last three (3) years. </li><li>Executive Protection driver or protection school certifications is preferred. </li><li>EMT or intermediate/advanced emergency medical certifications is preferred. </li><li>Member of the Department of Homeland Security- Trusted Traveler Program with a Sentri, Global card, or Nexus active membership is preferred; with the ability to obtain one of the memberships if hired. </li></ul> <p>Other Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Retired Law Enforcement Officer under 18 USC 926B & 926C, LEOSA HR-218, or the ability to obtain a California CCW within six months of hire. </li><li>California issued (BSIS) Guard permit and Firearm Expose Carry permit, or the ability to obtain both cards within six months of hire. </li><li>If hired, must successfully complete an Executive Protection Agent training program in the first six months. </li><li>Complete within one year the following: Executive Protection and Security Driver courses, obtain BSIS guard/firearm permits/CCW, First Aid/CPR/AED and tactical medicine courses. </li></ul>
