<p>Kforce has a client in Lakeland, FL that is seeking a remote A/R Specialist to help with an A/R Project.</p> <p>Summary: The A/R Specialist is responsible for supporting the A/R team. The A/R Specialist also help with general duties such as monitoring and researching aging reports to manage account balances while working with internal partners to provide data on past due accounts. The A/R Specialist also works with external clients that are past due to build relationships to better understand why they are unpaid and work with them to provide a payment solution.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Manage A/R inbox to respond to inquiries </li><li>Correspond with customers to verify and retrieve proper contact information </li><li>Conduct research and analysis of open AR for numerous national divisions </li><li>Prepare and maintain various reports of AR to send out to regional directors </li><li>Maintain accurate aging reports </li><li>Identify and execute the necessary process of adjustments to accounts </li><li>Send outstanding brokerage statement to clients for payment </li><li>Perform daily follow-up with outstanding clients/sales team members </li><li>Reconcile AR to the GL* 1+ years of relevant work experience within transactional accounting </li><li>Ability to work closely with people at all levels in the organization </li><li>Ability to maintain professionalism when interacting with internal and external customers </li><li>Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced, changing environment and be detail oriented </li><li>Ability to meet set deadlines </li><li>Be self-directed, self-motivated and possess strong critical thinking skills </li><li>Proficient computer skills with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) </li><li>Preferably experience utilizing Pivot Tables or VLOOKUPs in past jobs </li></ul>
