<p>GENERAL SUMMARY</p> <ul> <li>Develop and maintain strong customer relations in such a manner that they will purchase from Preferred to increase company sales and profit. </li></ul> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li> <p>Develop new customer accounts through cold calls, working potential customer lists and contacting contractors in the area, etc.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain positive relations and increase business with current customers.</p> </li><li> <p>Accurately estimate materials needed and up sale.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide effective product presentation to customers.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.</p> </li><li> <p>Negotiate pricing levels with customers in a way that will encourage business and also maintain profitability.</p> </li><li> <p>Obtain and record current information on customers.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate with Sales Manager the status of quotes and orders to ensure commitment to customers are being met.</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee the formwork fabrication process.</p> </li><li> <p>Achieve growth and hit sales targets</p> </li></ul> <p>MARGINAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Make recommendations to Sales Manager for new product lines and pricing to remain competitive in the market. </li><li>Ability to calculate figures and amounts, such as: discounts, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. </li><li>Attend relevant product training to increase knowledge as required. </li><li>Attend and participate in relevant trade shows as required. </li><li>Assist in collecting past due accounts payables. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Make recommendations to Sales Manager for new product lines and pricing to remain competitive in the market. </li><li>Ability to calculate figures and amounts, such as: discounts, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. </li><li>Attend relevant product training to increase knowledge as required. </li><li>Attend and participate in relevant trade shows as required. </li><li>Assist in collecting past due accounts payables. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma / GED </li><li>4 years of relevant product sales experience </li></ul> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED</p> <ul> <li>Industry relevant product knowledge - Required </li><li>Computer skills (typing, email, internet, Office / Excel) - Required </li><li>Valid driver's license </li></ul> <p>WORKING CONDITIONS</p> <ul> <li>Indoors - Frequently </li><li>Outdoors - Frequently </li><li>Temperatures - Seasonal </li><li>Loud Noise - Infrequent </li><li>Forty to Fifty-hour work week - Frequently </li></ul> <p>CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS</p> <ul> <li>OSHA 10-Hour Certification - Required </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</p> <ul> <li>Standing for long periods of time </li><li>Driving for short and/or long periods of time </li></ul> <p>Wayne Brothers, Inc is an Equal Employment Opportunity/ Affirmative Action Employer.
