Discover your opportunities at Yale!</p> <p>Salary Range</p> <p>$65,000.00 - $101,000.00</p> <p>Position Focus</p> <p>The Research Coordinator will work under the supervision of the PI (Lipska) and work collaboratively with the Project Access of New Haven (PA-NH) team, to implement and ensure high quality study procedures for the T1CARE trial. The Research Coordinator will also collaborate with the study advisory board, study biostatistician, study partners from the Mayo Clinic, including research investigators and consultants. Research coordinator will be responsible for recruitment, enrollment, and data collection during the trial.</p> <p>Required Skills and Abilities</p> <ol> <li> <p>Experience using electronic medical records and RedCAP (preferred)</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work independently to complete required tasks</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated welcoming, friendly, respectful communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Strong knowledge of medical terminology and relevant procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent written, electronic, and oral communication skills</p> </li></ol> <p>Preferred Education and Experience</p> <p>BA/BS required, experience in research highly preferred</p> <p>Principal Responsibilities</p> <ol> <li>Assumes primary responsibility for a program, service, activity, operation or function in an assigned area. Develops objectives, practice and procedure and identifies resources to ensure accomplishment of operational goals. 2. Coordinates day-to-day operations in order to achieve designated goals. Ensures effective management and leads the development and implementation of best practices. 3. Designs and implements quality control metrics to identify areas of risk. Analyzes, recommends, and implements strategic solutions to minimize risk. 4. Develops a variety of complex report and other written materials. 5. Provides guidance to and collaboration with internal and external partners as necessary. 6. Develops, oversees and monitors budgets. 7. Develops and maintains specialized training. 8. May perform other duties as assigned. Required Education and Experience Minimum requirement of Bachelor's Degree in related field and two years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. </li></ol> <p>Background Check Requirements</p> <p>All candidates for employment will be subject to pre-employment background screening for this position, which may include motor vehicle, DOT certification, drug testing and credit checks based on the position description and job requirements.
