<p>Staffmark is seeking a Paint Blaster to join a fast-paced manufacturing team in Trussville, AL. This position is responsible for executing the full paint blasting process on production parts, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to specifications.</p> <p>Pay: $18-$20/hr (based on experience)</p> <p>Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday-Friday | 3:30 PM - 1:00 AM</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Accept only parts that are properly prepared for painting </li><li>Manually move parts through the painting, flashing, and drying sections of the paint system </li><li>Mix paints and solvents according to manufacturer specifications </li><li>Operate automated mixing equipment </li><li>Apply coatings using electrostatic and traditional spray guns </li><li>Ensure parts meet specified drying and curing times </li><li>Inspect finished work and perform corrections as needed </li><li>Perform routine cleaning and flushing of paint and solvent systems </li><li>Support scheduled or as-needed maintenance of paint system equipment </li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area </li><li>Assist in other areas of the paint line as needed </li><li>Follow all company policies and safety guidelines </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED </li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive, physically demanding tasks </li><li>Comfortable working while wearing a respirator and protective gear </li><li>Must pass a pulmonary function test and respirator fit test </li><li>Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality </li><li>Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions </li><li>Self-motivated and dependable </li></ul> <p>Why You'll Love This Job:</p> <p>Enjoy weekly pay every Friday and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, short-term disability coverage, and a 401(k) retirement plan.
