<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Saab Inc., Land Systems division is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Staff Integration and Test (I&T) Engineer with experience in weapons and other Department of Defense (DoD) systems engineering test, production support testing, and I&T leadership. The results-oriented candidate should be capable of taking initiative, exhibiting technical knowledge and leadership, demonstrating hands-on complex "system of systems" problem solving, multi-tasking, and providing next generation, innovative solutions, as applicable to the I&T discipline. The candidate will work closely with the project and program leadership, other engineering disciplines, engineering leadership and other functional teams across businesses and locations.</p> <p>Responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Assemble, integrate, and test complex systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Analyze subsystem and system requirements; developing integration and verification strategies for those subsystems and systems</p> </li><li> <p>Identify, procure and validate test environments & tools as necessary</p> </li><li> <p>Develop integration & verification plans and procedures and conduct verification activities in accordance with these procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Utilize automated test methodologies to design and implement test automation framework and automated tests, working with software engineers during process.</p> </li><li> <p>Write verification analysis reports documenting the results of verification activities</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrate expertise in troubleshooting, problem decomposition, root cause analysis and risk analysis</p> </li><li> <p>Actively coach and mentor less experienced I&T engineers in an effort to grow the engineering capabilities of the team</p> </li><li> <p>Contribute to project planning by providing cost estimates, schedule estimates and task assignments</p> </li><li> <p>Actively participate in proposal efforts (including whitepaper and RFI responses), technical volume generation, estimates, basis of estimates, and reviews.</p> </li><li> <p>Work closely with existing products' design authorities and jointly generate the best solution for given problems, as well as communicate effectively with suppliers, customers, and teammates.</p> </li></ul> <p>This role will require approximately six months of international travel to complete training to start. This position is based out of our Syracuse, NY office. Relocation will be provided.</p>
