<p>A Day in the Life at Lansing: Outside Sales Representative</p> <p>We are seeking a positive, motivated, and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team. Our ideal candidate will excel in prospecting new business and relationship building, while maintaining a strong commitment to meeting and exceeding sales targets.</p> <p>In addition to living our Mission of Respect, Service, and Excellence responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>New Business Development: Identify and prospect clients within your assigned territory and develop & manage leads, through 8 - 10 daily sales appointments. Ensure timely follow-up through the Lansing Sales Cycle. </li><li>Customer Meetings: Meet face to face and educate contractors, remodelers, & builders on our products/services, demonstrating the value and benefits for their organization. </li><li>Relationship Building: Establish and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their needs and proactively offering solutions </li><li>Sales Reporting: Utilize Salesforce to track and report on sales activities. </li></ul> <p>Ideal Attributes</p> <ul> <li>Skillset: Strong communication and negotiation skills; confident and persuasive demeanor. Ability to establish rapport & deliver on promises. </li><li>Winning Mindset: A relentless drive to drive new business and exceed sales targets. </li><li>Time Management: Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize and work independently with minimal supervision. </li><li>Customer-Obsessed: Passion for understanding and fulfilling client needs to help them grow their business using a solutions-oriented approach. </li><li>Integrity: History of strong ethical behavior and high integrity. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>2+ years of experience in territory management, B2B outside sales, with a focus on new business development </li><li>Experience with CRM software to manage and track sales activity. </li><li>Familiarity with Building Materials, Construction, or Wholesale Territory Sales </li><li>College degree preferred but not required. </li></ul> <p>Compensation Package</p> <ul> <li>Base salary (Include Range) plus uncapped commission, with a strong focus on performance-based incentives. </li><li>Company Car: Personal Usage & All Expenses Paid </li><li>Laptop, Cell Phone & Tablet </li><li>Ability to qualify for Annual Sales Incentive Trip </li></ul> <p>SLS123 #LI-CF1</p>
