Our talented staff of more than 450+ professionals deliver integrated planning, design, engineering and construction solutions to our clients from our offices throughout Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, West Virginia and Alabama.</p> <p>Due to MSG's continued growth in our Civil/Municipal Division, a new opening is available for a Civil Project Engineer!</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Work in conjunction with other licensed engineers assisting with the design and preparation of a variety of commercial, industrial, energy, water/wastewater and community projects throughout the Midwest. </li><li>Coordinate with fellow MSG staff across a variety of services sectors including Surveying, Geotechnical, Structural, Traffic, Transportation, Site Construction, etc. </li><li>Perform and check various design calculations and performing various tasks as they relate to preparing a design package. </li><li>Preparing front end feasibility documents, due diligence reports and zoning studies, project development, storm water modeling and design, cost estimates and detailed design plans. </li><li>Perform QA/QC reviews. </li></ul> <p>Skills, Knowledge and Expertise</p> <ul> <li>Practical experience in design and plan preparation of site development projects. </li><li>Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. </li><li>Experience with industry design standards. </li><li>Understanding of guidelines and specifications. </li><li>Knowledge of AutoCAD/Civil 3D grading is preferred. </li><li>Proficiency in independent preparation of Hydraulic/Hydrologic reports is preferred. </li><li>The ability to engage reviewing agencies while preparing technical designs and addressing comments is a critical part of our process. </li><li>The ideal candidate will be comfortable communicating and coordinating with review agencies. </li><li>Professional Engineer's license in the state of Ohio.
