<p>Assistant Supervisor</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>The Production departments create personalized gifts for our customers. The Assistant Supervisor supports the Department Supervisor in a production warehouse environment to ensure a consistent, efficient, and high-quality product is delivered to meet customer expectations.</p> <p>Shift</p> <p>1st Shift Between: 6:30 AM-3:00 PM</p> <p>Peak schedule may vary based on business needs</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Monitor daily department efficiencies using reports, calculations, and tracking data </li><li>Inspect and distribute picked materials to production lines and personnel </li><li>Continuously monitor order backlog, with a focus on express orders </li><li>Operate department-specific production equipment as needed </li><li>Ensure equipment settings are accurate and aligned with production needs </li><li>Guide and support POC's and production staff to meet required output levels </li><li>Perform routine maintenance and assist in diagnosing and repairing equipment issues </li><li>Report safety concerns, policy violations, and quality issues to the Department Supervisor </li><li>Assist with training, onboarding, and staff adjustments </li><li>Promote a positive work environment with high morale and performance expectations </li><li>Maintain strong attendance and punctuality </li><li>Perform additional department-specific tasks as assigned by the Supervisor </li></ul> <p>Education & Experience</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required </li><li>Minimum of 1 year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience </li></ul> <p>Work Environment & Expectations</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods (8+ hours) </li><li>Strong attendance, punctuality, and reliability required </li></ul> <p>Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Strong training and facilitation skills </li><li>Excellent interpersonal, communication, and listening skills </li><li>Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area </li><li>Demonstrates energetic, motivating, and team-oriented behavior </li><li>Ability to delegate tasks and multitask effectively </li><li>Understanding of production lines and equipment capacity </li><li>Ability to identify and recommend process improvements </li><li>Proficiency in Windows-based computer applications </li><li>Demonstrates initiative and willingness to learn and grow </li><li>Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred </li></ul> <p>The expected hourly pay range for this position is $19.00 to $23.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other factors permitted by law.</p>
