<p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>This program will be hosted at our Little Rock headquarters. Over the course of 10 weeks, interns will gain exposure to the following:</p> <ul> <li>Client Service: Claims, Risk Management Consulting, Loss Control, Insurance Program Design, and Insurance Placement Strategy </li><li>Firm Operations: InsurTech, Finance, and Accounting Functions </li><li>Work alongside experienced client executives and specialists in each discipline. </li><li>Gain exposure to various insurance coverages and develop analytical skills through policy reviews and analysis. </li><li>Learn about the data infrastructure that drives our risk management strategy. </li><li>Participate in team meetings, client calls, and strategic planning sessions. </li><li>Learn how brokers evaluate risk and craft tailored insurance solutions for our clients. </li><li>Develop presentation and communication skills as part of a comprehensive capstone presentation. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE</p> <ul> <li>Currently enrolled in a college or university program (rising Senior preferred). </li><li>Majors: Risk Management & Insurance, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, and related fields. </li><li>GPA: 3.5 or higher (or equivalent academic standing). </li></ul> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Exceptional verbal, written and organizational skills and strong attention to detail. </li><li>Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Curious and collaborative mindset. </li><li>Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to determine the appropriate action. </li><li>Process management skills. </li><li>Establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization. </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, with the ability to learn and utilize industry-specific software as required. </li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality. </li><li>Demonstrated reliability in attendance and work performance. </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>Ability to work with a computer for prolonged periods sitting in an office environment. </li><li>Ability to operate a computer, keyboard, standard office equipment or tools. </li><li>Ability to use close vision and adjust focus as needed to create accurate work product. </li><li>Ability to speak and hear in an office environment. </li><li>Ability to concentrate and maintain focus for long periods of time in an open office environment. </li><li>Ability to walk, reach, lift or carry up to 10 pounds. </li></ul>
