Below are the primary responsibilities to help you get a feel for a "day in the life."</p> <ul> <li>Provides accurate and timely vehicle diagnosis, maintenance and repairs, ensuring customer expectations are met or exceeded. </li><li>Test drives vehicles before and after repairs to ensure functionality and overall safety. </li><li>Inspection and repairing customers vehicles to ensure they are in accordance with state requirements. </li><li>Promotes company culture of cooperation and collaboration among all team members. </li><li>Assists other teammates with tasks as needed to consistently deliver on our expectation of delivering a wow experience. </li></ul> <p>THE "NUTS AND BOLTS" NECESSARY FOR SUCCESS</p> <ul> <li>Minimum two years of automotive repair experience. (ASE certifications are preferred but not required.) </li><li>Must have a valid Virginia Inspector license. </li><li>Must have at least 1 year experience as a Virginia State Inspector. </li><li>Must have own tools (We offer a great tool purchase program!) </li><li>Capable of operating machines and equipment used in the automotive mechanic trade -- diagnostic scanner experience is a plus. </li><li>Strong customer service, organization, and communication skills. </li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and consistency follow store policies and procedures. </li><li>Desire and ability to work in a team environment. </li><li>Authorized to work in the USA and at least 18 years of age. </li><li>Must have and maintain a valid driver's license. </li><li>Capable of continuous standing, bending, lifting (up to 75 lbs). </li><li>Authorized to work in the USA and at least 18 years of age. </li><li>Availability to work on Saturdays. </li><li>We are focused on safety, but Service Techs should be comfortable with occasional exposure to mechanical hazards and outside weather conditions. </li></ul> <p>CAREER TRACK</p> <p>No "dead-ends" here, as we offer clear paths for advancement for strong performers interested in growing in their career! To support this, we pay for ASE training and have a generous tool discount program. There are multiple paths to success, but below is just one example of the potential career path for a Service Technician.</p> <p>Service Inspector-> Service Manager -> General Manager</p> <p>COMPENSATION PLAN</p> <p>Pay: $40,000 - $100,000+ Effective rate</p> <p>Our Service Technicians are paid an hourly rate plus commission on all labor - with no cap on commission! (Starting hourly rate depends on experience level and ASE certifications.)
