We provide an in-depth twelve month orientation to the challenges and rewards of nursing practice in the Emergency Department. The Academy experience includes: o######## Emergency Department shadowing experience with an ED RN o######## Foundational Med Surg orientation to provide baseline nursing skills o######## Online learning modules developed by the Emergency Nurses Association o######## Wide variety of learning experiences to compliment ENA modules o######## Six month ED Orientation with skilled ED preceptors and educators o######## Ongoing feedback and evaluation# # Education/Experience Requirements Required:## Graduate of an accredited associate degree <em>A Graduate Nurse (GN) must complete NCLEX within 120 days of employment. Letter of recommendation from a clinical instructor or current manager.
