<p>Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Sonographer to join our Radiology team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>Performs high quality and accurate diagnostic ultrasound images. Interacts with patients, physicians, and staff in a professional and courteous manner. Maintains ultrasound equipment in optimum working condition. Applies knowledge of emergency protocols and procedures, and proper equipment utilization to maximize safety in the work environment.</p> <p>Work Schedule:</p> <ul> <li>Floating on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, day shift. </li><li>Thursdays, at St. Louis Park, 11:30am - 8pm. </li><li>About 4 weekends a year at Park Nicollet Maple Grove. </li></ul> <p>Locations:</p> <p>St. Louis Park, Bloomington, Chanhassen, Minnetonka, Plymouth, Minneapolis, Brookdale, Maple Grove</p> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <p>Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:</p> <ul> <li>Graduate from an accredited School of Medical Sonography or equivalent </li><li>Must be willing to participate in continuing education to remain current on technical advances as they occur. </li></ul> <p>Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:</p> <ul> <li>Must be registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). </li><li>Registered in RDMS and RVT within 6 months of hire required. </li><li>Must maintain current CPR skills. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Must have a strong anatomy and physiology background. </li><li>Ability to assess results, problem solve,and use independent judgment. </li><li>Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients. </li><li>Must have proven ability to operate the following safely and efficiently: Ultrasound equipment, Fax, Telephone, PC, Printer, and Photocopier. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <p>Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:</p> <ul> <li>Additional specialized training or at least one year of ultrasound experience preferred </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <p>Park Nicollet offers a competitive benefits package (for eligible positions) that includes medical insurance, dental insurance, a retirement program, time away from work, insurance options, tuition reimbursement, an employee assistance program, onsite clinic and much more!</p>
