<p>The Development Intern works in an administrative department at Easterseals Midwest and supports departmental activities. This position may work within Government Relations, Development, and Marketing.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>May track information and provide research assistance/analysis on specific issues. </li><li>May attend meetings and events to obtain or provide information. </li><li>May prepare reports/documents and/or perform data entry. Reviews documents and data for accuracy. </li><li>May support departmental special projects or events. </li><li>May provide communications and/or coordinate communications for department as needed. </li><li>May maintain records and documentation, and perform administrative support tasks. </li></ul> <p>Position Competencies:</p> <ul> <li>Able to carry out instructions in an accurate and timely manner. </li><li>Must have good communication skills. </li><li>Must have excellent time management skills. </li><li>Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word and Excel. </li></ul> <p>Easterseals Midwest Core Competencies:</p> <ul> <li>Adaptability & Initiative: Adapts to changes in the work environment and prioritizes activities to manage work responsibilities. </li><li>Communications: Communicates and exchanges accurate information through a variety of methods. </li><li>Dependability: Executes job duties within specified timeframes in order to meet agency objectives. </li><li>Job Knowledge & Quality: Maintains knowledge related to job responsibilities and ensures that output meets or exceeds established standards. </li><li>Judgment & Problem Solving: Exhibits sound decision-making skills and includes other staff in decision making when appropriate. </li><li>Teamwork & Professionalism: Establishes and maintains effective relationships and works cooperatively in group situations. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Must have high school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Pursuing a college degree in related field. </li><li>Knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office products. </li></ul> <p>Additional Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Must complete and maintain all required trainings/certifications. </li><li>Must maintain confidential information in accordance with HIPAA regulations. </li></ul>
