Write the next chapter of your ABB story.</p> <p>This position reports to</p> <p>Group Lead, Procurement</p> <p>Your role and responsibilities</p> <p>In this role you will be responsible for Supply Planning and Procurement at ABB Drive Products in New Berlin, WI, where you will be a key member of the Procurement & Logistics Team. Reporting to the Procurement Group Lead, you will manage short-to midterm material availability by working closely with our suppliers as well as our production, sourcing, planning & fulfillment, logistics, warehouse, and quality teams. The work model for the role is: Hybrid. #LI-Hybrid. This role is contributing to the Motion Drive Products division in New Berlin, WI. You will be mainly accountable for: • Secure material availability by proactively managing supply network. • Build strong supplier relationships and manage performance (on-time delivery, quality, lead time), resolve performance issues; ensure a stable and reliable supply of materials and/or services. • Ensure timely Purchase Order release and receipt; monitor and resolve issues. • Analyze and align supply plan with production requirements; rescheduling orders and developing recovery and contingency plans as required. • Manage supplier buffers and optimize ABB inventory. • Proactively optimize MRP strategies and parameters (planning strategy, lot size, safety stock, reorder point, rescheduling logic) in coordination with internal stakeholders. • Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders to provide updates on inventory status, delivery schedules and potential issues. Our team dynamics You will join a high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.</p> <p>Qualifications for the role</p> <ul> <li>Education in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations or equivalent and 2+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain and/or Logistics. </li><li>Familiarity with ABB Intercompany Procurement Processes and Systems. </li><li>Proficiency in using SAP or other ERP software as well as MS Office Suite. </li><li>Strong data analytics with Continuous Improvement mindset. </li><li>Demonstrated negotiation skills in a multicultural, global business environment. </li><li>A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills. </li><li>Preferred Qualifications: </li><li>Experience managing electronics manufacturers / electronics category. </li></ul> <p>More about us</p> <p>ABB Drive Products serves the industries and infrastructure segments with world-class drives and programmable logic controllers (PLC).
