<p>Job Title: Training & Development Specialist</p> <p>Department: Human Resources</p> <p>Reports to: VP of HR</p> <p>Classification: Exempt</p> <p>Location: Hybrid/Any facility</p> <p>Travel: Yes, 25%</p> <p>Job Summary: The Training & Development Specialist will be responsible for the development and, in some cases, delivery of job-specific training initiatives to improve operational performance. This position is also responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our workforce. By working closely with management across the organization, this role will identify and build, and track development plans for high-performing employees.</p> <p>Duties/Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Work with subject matter experts to develop comprehensive training guidelines and materials tailored to various roles within the manufacturing environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with managers/executives to identify training needs and prioritize training initiatives.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate/conduct training sessions, workshops, and demonstrations.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with the coordination of Talent & Succession efforts across the organization.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain a database of training materials for the organization as well as accurate records of training activities, attendance, and completion of activities.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage training documents in the HRIS system</p> </li><li> <p>Work closely with our QHES department for purposes of training administration</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in the onboarding process for employees, including participating in Orientation sessions.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide coaching and support to employees to reinforce learning and facilitate development.</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties as assigned</p> </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's Degree required</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Previous experience in training and development required (2-3 years)</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with a multi-state organization</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Skills/Abilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Excellent communication and presentation skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong organizational skills</p> </li><li> <p>Effective multitasker with demonstrated ability to prioritize</p> </li><li> <p>Proven ability to maintain strict confidentiality; establish strong credibility and build relationships.</p> </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Must be willing to travel to facilities as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to travel between locations to include driving as well as flying</p> </li><li> <p>Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.</p> </li><li> <p>Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds at times.</p> </li></ul> <p>All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, disability, age, genetic information, or any other factors prohibited by law.</p>
