<p>Job Summary:</p> <p>Proficient in casting and splinting applications and associated procedures:</p> <ul> <li>Proficient in dressing changes, associated applications and suture removal </li><li>Consistently orders and manages casting supplies to ensure adequate inventory </li><li>Educate patients and caregivers of specific care related to casts, splints, dressings, and durable medical equipment </li><li>Maintain appropriate levels of casting and splinting supplies </li><li>Fit patients and give appropriate instruction on a variety of DME </li><li>Familiar and proficient in EPIC EMR and BREG DME Dispensing software systems </li><li>Knowledgeable and familiar with billing and insurance procedures and is capable of anticipating doctors and patients needs while performing on a multi task level </li><li>Assists patient care staff with rooming patients and performing vital signs as needed and available </li><li>Facilitates patient flow by coordinating patient care in a timely and efficient manner </li><li>Maintains patient confidentiality and complies with all HIPAA rules and regulations. </li></ul> <p>May provide ATC coverage at local high school games as needed.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>Bachelor's Degree, NYS Athletic Trainer license and certification by the BOC (Board of Certification). Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross is required</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <p>Previous classroom training experience preferred.</p> <p>Work Days:</p> <p>Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm</p> <p>Message to Applicants:</p> <p>L1: $20.00 - $30.00</p> <p>Please note the salary information shown is a general guideline only.
