This individual acts as the primary liaison between business units, technical teams, and external vendors, ensuring the ERP system supports core business functions and drives operational efficiency. The role combines deep ERP technical expertise with leadership, project management, and business process knowledge to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance ERP solutions.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>ERP Strategy & Leadership</p> <ul> <li> <p>Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for the organization's ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Epicor, etc.).</p> </li><li> <p>Lead ERP system planning, design, configuration, deployment, and continuous improvement initiatives.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with executive leadership to align ERP initiatives with organizational goals and business needs.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop and maintain ERP roadmap, ensuring scalability and adaptability to future requirements.</p> </li></ul> <p>Project Management</p> <ul> <li> <p>Lead and manage end-to-end ERP projects including upgrades, integrations, and module rollouts.</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee project timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.</p> </li><li> <p>Facilitate change management processes and ensure smooth adoption of new system features or upgrades.</p> </li></ul> <p>System Implementation & Support</p> <ul> <li> <p>Oversee configuration of ERP modules and workflows based on business requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage data migrations, system testing, and validation processes.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide ongoing system maintenance, troubleshooting, and user support.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor system performance and ensure compliance with SLAs and security policies.</p> </li></ul> <p>Stakeholder & Team Collaboration</p> <ul> <li> <p>Act as a liaison between IT and business departments to translate functional needs into technical solutions.</p> </li><li> <p>Lead and mentor ERP analysts, developers, and administrators.</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct stakeholder training and produce documentation on system usage and best practices.</p> </li></ul> <p>Vendor & Partner Management</p> <ul> <li> <p>Evaluate and manage ERP vendors, consultants, and third-party integrations.</p> </li><li> <p>Negotiate contracts, licenses, and service agreements.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure vendor solutions meet company standards and regulatory compliance.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.</p> </li><li> <p>Master's degree or MBA (preferred).</p> </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li> <p>7+ years of experience working with ERP systems in a business analyst, developer, or implementation role.</p> </li><li> <p>3+ years in a leadership or team lead position.</p> </li><li> <p>Proven experience with full-cycle ERP implementations and upgrades.</p> </li></ul> <p>Technical Skills:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Deep knowledge of one or more ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Epicor, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, etc.).</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with ERP reporting tools and business intelligence (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Crystal Reports).</p> </li><li> <p>Understanding of relational databases, SQL, and system integrations (APIs, EDI, etc.).</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with IT governance, cybersecurity, and compliance standards (e.g., SOX, GDPR).</p> </li></ul> <p>Soft Skills:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Leadership, team-building, and mentoring abilities.</p> </li><li> <p>High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Certifications (not required but advantageous):</p> <ul> <li> <p>ERP-specific certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate, Oracle Certified Professional, NetSuite Administrator).</p> </li><li> <p>Project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile).</p> </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <ul> <li> <p>May require occasional travel to company sites or vendor locations.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work flexible hours during system rollouts or upgrades.</p> </li><li> <p>Hybrid or remote work options available depending on business needs.</p> </li></ul> <p>As an equal opportunity employer, FLSmidth embraces diversity and equality by promoting an environment of inclusion.
