<p>Under the general direction of the Client Service Manager and the Director of Laboratory Services, the Phlebotomist/Clinical Lab Associate collects blood specimens for analysis performs routine processing for all specimens submitted for clinical analysis, including registration, accessioning, receipt requisitions into the Laboratory Computer System.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>Education:</p> <p>High school diploma or equivalent required</p> <p>Certified Phlebotomy Training Course completion and certificate preferred.</p> <p>Experience</p> <p>Minimum 1 year of Phlebotomy experience preferred.</p> <p>Previous laboratory and computer experience preferred.</p> <p>Licensure and/or Certification</p> <p>Phlebotomy Certification preferred.</p> <p>Skills</p> <p>Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.</p> <p>Effective phlebotomy skills.</p> <p>Must be able to switch priorities and respond to changing needs of the department, including traveling to other locations for assignment.</p> <p>Effective communication and interpersonal skills.</p> <p>Computer skills.</p> <p>Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate in English.</p> <p>Ability to maintain confidential information.</p>
