<p>Job Summary:</p> <ul> <li>Execute on company vision and plan to drive the adoption of our vertical power technology in our target applications </li><li>Drive Empower's demand creation efforts globally with target customers in target applications </li><li>Provide Empower Global Sales team leadership, direction, and oversight by establishing annual sales, design win, business operations, and financial operating plans </li><li>Create and monitor sales and service field reports covering problems, pricing, competition and proposals </li><li>Develop and implement a sales strategy in conjunction with Sales & Marketing management that includes brand awareness, advertising, merchandising, and channels </li><li>Advises Executive and Sales leadership team of overall trends in the marketplace in order to develop future sales & marketing strategies </li><li>Actively participates in sales and operations planning. Uses revenue forecasts as the basis for developing demand, inventory, and production plans </li><li>Regularly attends customer meetings both on-site as well as customer locations </li><li>Utilize CEO at key accounts to drive demand creation and form strong customer partnerships </li></ul> <p>Key Attributes of Executive</p> <ul> <li>Proven track record of delivering revenue results to plan in a pre-revenue innovative technology startup (power management semiconductor preferred) </li><li>Extreme work ethic: "whatever it takes" attitude; Demonstrated ability to work at start-up intensity </li><li>Proven track record of managing large target accounts to success and building strong customer executive relationships </li><li>Technical acumen in power management technology </li><li>Professional, Ethical, Energetic, Positive leader with exceptional management experience and skills </li><li>Evangelist of Empower technology and culture brand both internally and externally </li><li>Extreme integrity: honest, transparent, direct communicator (up, down and out) </li><li>Evidence of strong cross-functional collaboration: ability to positively influence internal and external partners </li><li>Strong strategic thinker: capable of creating and driving key strategies </li><li>Excellent oral and written communicator: for both internal and external communications </li><li>Ability to synthesize key customer requirements and provide input to marketing and engineering to influence future product definition </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 10 years of experience in Semiconductor Sales, 15+ years in Sales/Marketing/Business Development/Engineering ; Team leadership and management experience </li><li>Deep networking / customer contacts across United States and Internationally </li><li>Strong knowledge in power management products </li><li>Proven track record of effective cross-functional collaboration with Engineering and Operations </li><li>Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and in writing </li><li>Clear understanding of market trends, applications, systems and products </li><li>Ability to develop long term relationships with strategic customers based on trust, loyalty, expertise and professionalism </li><li>Bachelor's degree in engineering or related fields; MBA is a plus </li><li>Understanding and appreciation for doing "whatever it takes" to drive Sales growth in a start-up company environment </li></ul>
