Responsibilities Essential Functions Participates in hiring and training of new staff responsible for the scheduling of all staff Enusres completion of all rotational tasks Leads the process in daily operational problem resolution Jointly participates with the Director of Cardiac Diagnostic and Interventional Services on the staff coaching plans Assumes the role of the Director of Cardiac Diagnostic and Interventional Services when a person is absent Participates with the Director in coordination of departmental activities Practices efficient use and selection of supplies and equipment Works closely with the Manager of Bussiness Systems, Manager of Ancillary System Support, Ancillary Services , CVOR, and all other Cardiology units Communicates with the Medical Director and the Chairman of the Department of Cardiology to maintain and improve patient procedural opertations and development Participates with the Director in the Promotional, Marketing, and Managed Care activities or the department Facilitates budget improvment activities Oversee all departmental work group functions Ensures that all quality control and state and federal regualtions are met Responsible for all departmental participation in Process Improvement teams inter-departmentally Maintain records of Process Improvment for the Non-Invasive Cardiology Department for the Joint Commssion Manages various human resources functions including hiring, work assignments, coaching plans, and performance counseling Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistant with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures Other Related Functions Maintains a cooperative working environment in the department and corrects personnel inadequacies of skill, knowledge or CTE behaviors Ensures that all standards of the State of Florida Federal Agencies, Orlando Health Administration or any other regulatory agency are met or exceeded Demonstrates competency in contrast medication administration Qualifications Education/Training Graduate of accredited Registered Nurse and/or Allied Health Professional Program or Bachelor's Degree Licensure/Certification Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) renewed yearly; and/or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) renewed every three years; or Maintains current Florida Registered Nurse License or PrepMD or Arrhythima Technologies Institute Diploma or Cardiac Rhythm Management or Paramedic ceritfication and Maintains Current BLS/HealthCare provider certification Experience Three (3) years of clinical experience</p> <p>Education/Training Graduate of accredited Registered Nurse and/or Allied Health Professional Program or Bachelor's Degree Licensure/Certification Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) renewed yearly;
