<p>An Architecture firm in the suburbs of Chicago is looking to add a Project Manager I or Project Manager II to their team!</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Reviews Construction Documents for accuracy and ensures quality by marking corrections / red lines in preparation for review, bidding, permitting and construction </li><li>Performs code research to ensure that all necessary codes are applied to design solutions and construction documentation </li><li>Manages the permitting process in its entirety </li><li>Manges coordination of projects with all outside project consultants and vendors. </li><li>Manages and performs site observations and prepares site visit reports </li><li>Manages the Construction Administration phase including responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, participating in OAC calls </li><li>Actively participates in project reviews regarding project costs, budgets and adherence to schedule </li><li>Skilled in leading projects, including setting priorities and assigning tasks </li><li>Assists with mentoring, training, and coordinating the work of teammates </li><li>Assist in scheduling and meeting project deadlines </li><li>Participates in client relationship meetings alongside the Team Lead </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's or Master's in Architecture </li><li>4+ years of experience in an applicable role, requiring documentation, project management, and people management support </li><li>Ability to produce construction documents in Revit and AutoCAD </li><li>Prior experience supporting SD, DD, and CD phases </li><li>Prior experience leading construction administration </li><li>Prior experience working on retail/restaurant projects </li></ul> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Des Plaines, IL.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $32.69 - $37.50/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
