<p>Join Our Team at Tallahassee State College</p> <p>Field Supervisor Opportunity</p> <p>Tallahassee State College (TSC), recently recognized as one of the Most Promising Places to Work in Community Colleges for 2025, is excited to announce a part-time opportunity for the position of Field Supervisor with the Applied Sciences and Technology Department. We are seeking a dedicated professional who shares our commitment to fostering a vibrant workplace community.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <p>As Field Supervisor, the day-to-day responsibilities will include:</p> <ul> <li>Supervise and support student interns during their clinical field experiences in elementary and ESE classrooms. </li><li>Conduct formal observations in person throughout the internship experience. Collaborate with mentor teachers, TSC faculty, and the Practicum Coordinator to support intern development and address concerns. </li><li>Maintain accurate records of observations, conferences, and evaluations. </li><li>Conduct pre and post conferences based on the observation schedule of interns. </li><li>Ensure compliance with all state and college policies related to teacher education and clinical experience. </li><li>Must be willing to travel to various school sites within Leon, Gadsden, and Wakulla counties. </li><li>Preference will be given to individuals with experience as a college or university supervisor with interns in an education program. </li></ul> <p>Work schedule:</p> <ul> <li>10-15 hours per week </li></ul> <p>Contact:</p> <ul> <li>Nick Vick via email at Nick.Vick@tsc.fl.edu </li></ul> <p>Who We're Looking For</p> <p>We're seeking a candidate who brings not only technical expertise but also a passion for education and student success.
