All team members receive benefits including:</p> <ul> <li>Weekly pay </li><li>Employee assistance program </li><li>Training and development opportunities </li><li>Employee discounts </li><li>Flexible work schedules </li></ul> <p>Eligible team members may also receive: health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation days and holidays, paid parental bonding leave, and tuition and/or professional certification reimbursement.</p> <p>What will you do?</p> <ul> <li>Assist Manager with staff schedule, ordering, receiving, and drink menu ideation. </li><li>Assists with end-of-month inventory and financial reporting. </li><li>Ensure compliance with all departmental and organizational policies and procedures. </li><li>Maintain a safe and clean environment for guests and associates. </li><li>Assist managers in the training and development of the team and in conducting associate-counseling sessions. </li><li>Assist managers in the management of staffing levels by establishing budgetary goals and business volume. </li><li>Inspect by walking through your assigned area to monitor staff and to monitor guest needs. </li><li>Analyze and resolve problems, seeking assistance if needed from management. </li><li>Ensure the venue is adequately stocked with all the products and supplies needed for the service. </li><li>Collaborate with the manager concerning operational deficiencies and areas in need of attention. </li><li>Assist bartending associates in serving guests as business levels demand. </li><li>Ensure personnel meet appearance standards and follow all uniform guidelines. </li></ul> <p>More about you</p> <ul> <li>Must be at least 18 years of age. </li><li>Minimum of 1 year of successful supervisory or management experience, preferably in a bar or restaurant setting. </li><li>Knowledge in bartending techniques, recipes, sanitation, and safety issues is highly preferred. </li><li>Basic math skills; ability to accurately account for cash and inventory. </li><li>Must be able to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays. </li><li>Strong verbal, written, organizational, and time-management skills. </li><li>Basic computer skills, including word-processing, spreadsheets, and e-mail required. </li></ul> <p>Physical requirements</p> <ul> <li>Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions </li><li>Ability to lift stock to 50 pounds occasionally </li><li>May be required to work outdoors or in variable temperatures, depending on the season </li></ul> <p>Shift details</p> <p>Evening shift</p> <p>Split shift</p> <p>Holidays</p> <p>Monday to Friday</p> <p>Weekends</p> <p>Event based</p> <p>Who we are</p> <p>Delaware North is a leader in food service management, operating some of the busiest and most famous kitchens in the world.
