<p>We are looking for an innovative and strategic New Tech Systems Strategy/Architect to join our forward-thinking organization. This role involves leading the design, evaluation, and implementation of new technologies that align with our business goals. The successful candidate will apply their knowledge of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to shape and enhance our technology landscape. This role with report to Enterprise Architecture Director.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Technology Strategy Development: </li><li>Develop and articulate a clear technology vision and strategy that aligns with the organization's goals. </li><li>Identify emerging technologies that could enhance operational efficiency, drive innovation, and add value to our systems and processes. </li><li>Evaluate new technologies for their potential application within the organization. </li></ul> <p>System Architecture Design:</p> <ul> <li>Design robust and scalable systems architecture that supports business needs and integrates new technologies with existing infrastructure. </li><li>Create and maintain architectural documentation, including diagrams, standards, and guidelines. </li><li>Ensure that system architectures meet performance, reliability, and security requirements. </li><li>Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: </li><li>Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., IT, business operations, product development) to ensure successful implementation of technology initiatives. </li><li>Collaborate with executive leadership to understand business challenges and define technology solutions. </li><li>Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment on strategic objectives. </li><li>Implementation and Integration: </li><li>Lead the planning and execution of technology pilot programs and full-scale implementations. </li><li>Manage vendor relationships and evaluate third-party solutions to support strategic objectives. </li><li>Monitor and guide the integration of new technologies into existing systems, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. </li></ul> <p>Research and Innovation:</p> <ul> <li>Continuously research and analyze industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation. </li><li>Champion a culture of innovation within the organization, encouraging teams to explore new ideas and technologies. </li><li>Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented technologies and iterate on strategies as needed. </li></ul> <p>Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing:</p> <ul> <li>Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects and technical teams. </li><li>Lead training sessions and knowledge-sharing initiatives to enhance the organization's technical capabilities. </li></ul> <p>At Advanced Materials, we are committed to offering the highest value-add specialty solutions in the advanced materials sector.
