Our site, Albéa Shelbyville is specialized in Laminate Tubes for Oral, Cosmetic & Pharmaceutical Markets.</p> <p>Scope</p> <p>The purpose of this position is to assist the Quality Department by performing daily audits on product as required. Ensuring that customer audit requirements are met and exceeded. Position acts as a lead in certain situations. Work with computer systems like, lighthouse, KMS, and others to review data and collect data.</p> <p>Main activities</p> <ul> <li>Sort rejected product </li><li>Perform audits on various products </li><li>Perform QC test methods for Laminate (as required by specific customers) </li><li>Keep area and equipment neat and organized as per a 5S environment </li><li>Documentation of audits being performed </li><li>Assist in determining if product is approved to be shipped </li><li>File audit reports </li><li>Perform special testing as required. </li><li>To utilize calibrated instruments for data collection </li><li>Conducting validation studies as required </li><li>Acts as a lead for quality issues </li><li>Support all production activities </li><li>Conduct FPA and LPA in SPG </li><li>Lead investigations to completion </li><li>Generate Quality reports summarizing the shift events </li><li>Lead training segments for Quality Technicians </li><li>Other duties as required </li></ul> <p>Accountability including KPIs</p> <ul> <li>Eliminates tubing scrap by catching defects prior to entering the production floor. </li><li>100 % completion line clearance and first piece inspection </li></ul> <p>Profile (Experience & qualifications)</p> <p>This position requires a detailed oriented individual with good written and communication skills. Previous Quality experience would be an asset; prefer previous experience as AMO (Automated Machine Operator). An individual that can work independently with limited supervision. A strong understanding of GDP/GMP and have at least 1+ years of experience in a Quality Auditor Role. Must be able to problem solve and lead an investigation to completion. Strong communication skills are essential and must be able to work in a team environment. High school diploma or GED required.</p>
