<p>SAFY of Indiana is seeking to hire a full-time Lead Licensed Therapist who is motivated to lead, coach and develop a high-performing divisional team. This individual must live near or within one of our 5 SAFY locations: Fort Wayne, Merrillville, Indianapolis, Mishawaka, Southern Indiana (Clarksville). The Intensive Foster Care and Respite Services (IFCS) is a new service the Indiana Department of Child Services (DCS) created for the children with the highest needs (e.g., mental health, behavioral, medical, etc.) who have a history of residential or psychiatric treatment and/or multiple foster placements. The goals are to find a home with either a licensed foster parent or relative in which the youth can be safe and stable. $5,000.00 sign-on bonus</p> <p>Who We Are</p> <p>At SAFY, our mission is Preserving Families & Securing Futures. Join our team and make an impact in a young person's life every day.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li> <p>Supervisory:</p> </li><li> <p>Provide clinical supervision to staff related to professional development and clinical direction for youth and families.</p> </li><li> <p>Interview candidates applying for assigned clinical and non-clinical positions in the division.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for the training of assigned staff, which includes thorough and complete training for new employees and assuring that the current staff receive appropriate continuing education and clinical guidance.</p> </li><li> <p>Assign performance goals, conduct monthly supervision, and perform scheduled evaluations for all direct reports.</p> </li><li> <p>Establish work schedules and on call rotation among staff to assure coverage of the division.</p> </li><li> <p>Clinical:</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in the development of a Program's documented treatment/service plans and provide identified behavioral services to meet the need of the clientele and/or program specifics.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop/Maintain consultative and liaison relationships with catchments area caregivers (e.g., schools, human services agencies, etc.) to cultivate work relations, provide consultative services and/or promote the coordination and development of mental health services.</p> </li><li> <p>Complete assessments as needed. Assessments may include psychosocial assessments, Diagnostic Assessment Forms, and independent living skills assessments.</p> </li><li> <p>Compliance/Reporting:</p> </li><li> <p>Timely documentation as required by policy, regulations, and contract requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain contact with referral agency personnel using discharge reports, Diagnostic Assessment forms, telephone calls, and incident reports in addition to regularly scheduled and required written reports.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be in compliance with monthly and quarterly requirements as defined annually by SAFY QI/CQI standards. Meet state required utilization standards for Mental Health services.</p> </li><li> <p>Other:</p> </li><li> <p>Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with all levels of SAFY staff by participating in joint meetings, and problem identification and resolution.</p> </li><li> <p>Establish and maintain a supportive and positive working relationship with youth, families, referring agencies, and other SAFY stakeholders.</p> </li><li> <p>Attend relevant in-house and external seminars, training, conferences and workshops to develop and enhance knowledge in the designated area as well as achieve relevant education hours per year to enhance professional and job-related skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Attending required meetings within the division team, region, and central office (team and/or community partners).</p> </li><li> <p>Meets regularly with supervisor to discuss issues and performance.</p> </li><li> <p>Sensitive and responsive to the cultural differences of staff, SAFY youth, foster parents, referral sources and the public.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide on-call response for assigned region(s).</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties as assigned by supervisor.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in the field of social work, counseling, psychology, or other license-eligible related field of human services </li><li>Must hold master's level or provisional licensure and be under independent licensure supervision in state. </li><li>Experience providing clinical supervision is preferred. </li><li>Minimum of two years of experience in the field of mental health/therapeutic intervention with children, adolescents, and families.
