Applications without all required materials are incomplete and will not be considered.</p> <p>Position Information</p> <p>Position Information</p> <p>Position Number 597020 Working Title Landscaping and Grounds Coordinator II Job Title Facilities Associate 5 Department M and R - Landscape Job Type Full-Time Job Purpose</p> <p>Responsible for the cultivation and care of the landscaping and grounds surrounding the campus. Works in extreme temperatures (hot and cold) to keep the campus clean, safe and attractive.</p> <p>Tennessee Tech is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <p>Cuts grass and trims with various mowers and power tools. Utilizes knowledge of horticulture techniques to assist in maintaining trees, plants, flowerbeds, shrubbery and other landscaping elements. Picks up and transports trash and provides leaf collection. Utilizes tractors, front end loaders, dump trucks and other commercial equipment to move dirt, sand, gravel and mulch for campus landscaping needs. Uses hand tools such as shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, watering hose, etc. to maintain grounds. Provides snow removal services to the entire campus.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>High school diploma with at least two years of related experience in landscape maintenance.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>Two years of landscape construction experience including operation of landscape equipment. Previous agronomic experience.</p> <p>Work Hours</p> <p>Typical Hours are Monday-Friday, 7-3.</p> <p>Compensation and Benefits</p> <p>Salary Commensurate with education and experience. Pay grade 4. Benefits Information</p> <p>Tennessee Tech offers a competitive benefits package. Benefits include the initial accumulation of one vacation day per month and one sick leave day per month, and thirteen (13) University holidays.
