<p>Founded by the Congregation of Holy Cross in 1948, Stonehill is a private Catholic college located just 22 miles from downtown Boston on a beautiful 384-acre campus in Easton, Massachusetts. GPS offers in-person, hybrid, and fully online master's degrees, graduate certificates, and professional development in business, education, science, and healthcare. Our academic programs are designed to empower working professionals and recent graduates to expand their employment and career opportunities through rigorous, convenient, and flexible academic offerings.</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>As part of the graduate admission team, this position recruits and enrolls students into graduate programs as part of the College's overall graduate admission and recruitment plan. The recruiter is responsible for helping achieve enrollment goals for assigned programs. The Graduate Admission Counselor supports various academic offices and the Graduate Admission team, primarily to recruit and support prospective students along the application pipeline and meet enrollment targets. This description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed and is not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, and skills required.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Develops and executes a comprehensive recruitment plan, with a focus on Education, Business, Healthcare, and STEM. </li><li>Collaborates with academic departments and external organizations to tailor outreach efforts to students who will demonstrate the aptitude and interest in these accelerated and certificate programs. </li><li>Serves as the primary point of contact for prospective students and their families, offering in-depth advice on program requirements, career outcomes, and academic pathways. </li><li>Builds and maintains relationships with inquiries and prospects through regular follow-ups, emails, and in-person meetings, fostering trust and encouraging application submissions. </li><li>Oversees the application process for prospective students, ensuring all materials are complete and meet program-specific requirements. </li><li>Collaborates with the admissions team to review applications, assist with eligibility assessments, and track students through the admissions pipeline. </li><li>Represents the College at targeted recruitment events, including college fairs, info sessions, and related conferences. </li><li>Organizes and hosts information sessions, webinars, and campus tours for prospective students, highlighting the unique opportunities and benefits of the programs. </li><li>Plans event-based recruiting. </li><li>Follows and helps to enhance the standard events process and checklist, taking responsibility for all planning, logistics, collaborations with other groups, follow-up, etc. </li><li>Supports and complements marketing efforts to generate awareness of programs and events through personal outreach to inquiries and prospects. </li><li>Maintains accurate, up-to-date records of recruitment activities, prospective student interactions, and application status to measure progress toward enrollment goals. </li><li>Tracks recruitment and enrollment data to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies, identify trends, and adjust plans as needed to meet or exceed goals. </li><li>Provides reports on recruitment progress and suggests improvements to achieve recruitment targets. </li><li>Works closely with academic and staff directors and faculty members to align messaging, ensure the accuracy of program details, and understand the academic culture for better recruitment efforts. </li><li>Continuously maintains detailed knowledge of all program details to effectively answer questions and present information to prospective students. </li><li>Provides administrative assistance (purchasing activities, scheduling, etc.) </li><li>Maintains a welcoming reception, campus visit programming, and oversight of daily operations. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Education and/or Experience</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree required. </li><li>Graduate admission recruiting experience preferred </li><li>Experience with Slate or a similar Admission CRM </li><li>Access to an automobile </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Excellent interpersonal skills </li><li>Leadership and collaboration skills </li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment </li><li>Exceptional interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills </li><li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced and multitasking environment </li><li>Ability to organize effectively </li><li>Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team </li><li>Ability to resolve problems and to develop relevant alternatives and recommendations </li><li>Working evenings/weekends is a typical expectation in a graduate environment. </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands</p> <p>While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use their hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.</p> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions.
