<p>The Administrative Assistant III is responsible for administrative tasks in support of the faculty, staff and students.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assist with the preparation of reports and/or proposals; write correspondence and memorandums; create flyers, brochures, newsletters, etc. </li><li>Perform a variety of administrative and secretarial services: maintain databases and generate reports and mailing lists, maintain calendars and organize meetings, manage office correspondence and procedures, and greet and work with students, faculty, visitors and other constituencies. </li><li>Manage/reconcile departmental budgets for all entities; process payroll, expense reports, supplier invoices, travel reimbursements and other financial transactions, including international transactions. </li><li>Coordinate the logistics for all department and program events (e.g., speakers and lecture series) to include scheduling, publicity, room reservations, travel (including international travel), and catering arrangements. </li><li>Update and maintain website. </li><li>Hire and oversee student workers. </li><li>Process incoming mail, update and maintain standard forms and letters. </li><li>Reply to general inquiries via email and phone.Create and send letters and emails. </li><li>Maintain office supply inventory and purchase supplies as needed. </li></ul> <p>Perform other duties as assigned.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Associates Degree and two years related experience or an equivalent of education training and experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Office programs including ability to do mail merges in Word and Excel spreadsheet formatting and manipulation.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced environment and follow through with minimum supervision in a calm and effective manner.</p> </li><li> <p>Proven ability to take initiative, establish efficient procedures, and have a strong attention to detail.</p> </li><li> <p>Previous budget management experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with website management.</p> </li><li> <p>Effective communication and outreach skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Discretion, tact, and high regard for confidentiality.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong organizational skills and proven ability to effectively prioritize tasks.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated commitment to work within a diverse environment and interact openly with individuals of different backgrounds.</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in an academic environment. </li><li>Previous Workday and Workforce experience. </li></ul> <p>We are always looking for exceptional Administrative Assistants.
