<p>Job Title: Project Controls Associate</p> <p>Overview</p> <p>We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Controls Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support successful project execution across engineering, procurement, and construction phases by managing schedules, budgets, risks, and project performance metrics.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Develop and maintain detailed project schedules to support sales proposals and active project execution. </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate schedules across all project phases and perform routine updates. </li><li>Conduct critical path analyses and recommend schedule recovery or mitigation strategies. </li><li>Establish and manage project budgets, cost-control systems, cost forecasts, variance analyses, and performance reports. </li><li>Track and control project costs, identify risks, and recommend cost-saving opportunities. </li><li>Develop and manage project risk management plans; monitor and report risk exposure. </li><li>Partner with stakeholders to develop contingency plans and resolve risk-related issues. </li><li>Implement Earned Value Management (EVM) and prepare/present periodic project controls reports. </li><li>Provide insights and recommendations to address delays, cost overruns, and performance gaps. </li><li>Manage project change control processes, ensuring accurate evaluation and approval of scope, cost, and schedule changes. </li><li>Ensure compliance with contractual, financial, and regulatory requirements; support audits and internal/external reviews. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency with project controls tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and cost management systems. </li><li>Strong understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM). </li><li>Familiarity with contract standards such as FIDIC and NEC. </li><li>Advanced Excel abilities and experience with reporting/analytics tools. </li><li>Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field. </li><li>Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CCP, PRINCE2) preferred. </li><li>Minimum six years of experience in project controls, ideally supporting EPC projects within the oil & gas, power generation, renewable energy, or infrastructure sectors. </li></ul> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glastonbury, CT.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
