<p>Employer: SpecialtyCare, Inc.</p> <p>Position Location: Indianapolis, IN</p> <p>Position: Cardiovascular Perfusion Technologist</p> <p>Job Duties:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Perform complex tests for diagnosis, treatment, measurement, and supplementation of cardiovascular system functions during open heart surgery.</p> </li><li> <p>Setup, manage and safely operate various modalities of extracorporeal membrane oxygenator (ECMO), ventricular assist devices, and using Ex-Vivo lung perfusion and Normothermic Regional Perfusion NPR to operate heart lung bypass machines during open heart surgery. This includes the setup and operation of the Angiovac systems for the treatment of certain heart valve diseases.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform the following procedures: Isolated Limb Perfusion, Intra Peritoneal Hyperthermic Perfusion, Intra Thoracic Hyperthermic Perfusion, Isolated Organ Perfusion, and Liver dialysis, as well as Organ Procurement and Transplantation procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide treatments like platelets rich plasma product, other therapeutic Apheresis, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), Ultrafiltration, Hemodialysis and Hemoconcentration.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure charting and data management system, interpretation of electronic perfusion monitoring data.</p> </li><li> <p>Mentor, tutor and evaluate Perfusion students and other healthcare personnels.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform regular quality control of all the equipment and make sure they are up to standard in accordance with the hospital policy.</p> </li></ol> <p>Job Requirements:</p> <p>Education Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor of Science degree in Perfusion Technology, Medicine, Cardiovascular Technology, or closely related. Employer will accept foreign degree and/or advance degree in the same field, including Doctor of Medicine. </li></ul> <p>Experience Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>24 months of experience in job offered, Cardiovascular Perfusionist, Cardiovascular Perfusion Technologist, or closely related. </li></ul> <p>Special skills requirements:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Experience with assisting a surgical team in performing open heart surgeries ranging from coronary artery bypass, various valve replacement and repair, complex aortic arch reconstruction, Ross procedure and advance minimally invasive mitral valve repair and cryoablation.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with operating cardiopulmonary bypass, intra-aortic balloon pumping, cardioplegia delivery, autologous blood processing, perfusion laboratory services-lab analysis equipment, and hemodialysis</p> </li><li> <p>Experience operating heart/lung bypass machine, cell saving.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with centrifugal and roller pumps, using mini circuits with Vacuum assisting devices, such as extracorporeal circuits (heart-lung machines) and dialysis machines.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be Board certified cardiovascular perfusionist by American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion.</p> </li></ol> <p>Salary: Available upon request</p> <p>Work Schedule: 40 hours/week</p> <p>Qualified applicants send cover letter and resumes to: SpecialtyCare, Inc., Brittany Warren, Talent Acquisition Specialist, immigrationshared@specialtycare.net, ref job#AM01.
