<p>Description</p> <ul> <li>Install, calibrate, and maintain electrical systems and instrumentation, including sensors, transmitters, and control systems. </li><li>Troubleshoot and repair electrical and instrumentation issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime. </li><li>Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. </li><li>Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to perform installations and repairs accurately. </li><li>Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support process improvements and ensure optimal system performance. </li><li>Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders, maintenance logs, and equipment inventories. </li><li>Assist in the design and implementation of new electrical and instrumentation systems and upgrades. </li><li>Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and procedures, promoting a safe working environment. </li><li>Provide technical support and training to other team members as needed. </li><li>Report to work at the scheduled time, work as scheduled and is seldom absent from work. </li><li>This job description is intended to provide an overview of the responsibilities and requirements of the position. Furthermore, nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this position at any time. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Proven experience as an E&I Technician or in a similar role in an industrial setting. </li><li>Able to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams. </li><li>Strong understanding of electrical theory, control systems, and instrumentation. </li><li>Proficient in the use of testing and diagnostic equipment, such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and calibrators. </li><li>Familiarity with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) automation systems integration, and HMI's. </li><li>Competent in 120/220/480V wiring for in installations and troubleshooting systems and circuits </li><li>Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. </li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. </li><li>Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. </li></ul> <p>Education/Experience/Certifications/Licenses</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or certification in electrical/instrumentation technology required. </li></ul> <p>Typical Physical and Mental Demands/Work Environment: Work is primarily performed in a manufacturing facility and occasionally seated in an office. May involve working under deadlines. Requires: broad range of physical and mental activities to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position:</p> <ul> <li>You will be required to stand for 5.5+ hrs./day, walk for 5+ hrs./day, sit for 1+ hr./day, drive a forklift for 0.5+ hrs./day, constant overhead reach, forward reach, climb, bend, kneel, squat, stoop, use manual dexterity, make position changes, wear protective equipment, maintain physical endurance, maintain attention to detail, engage in problem-solving, use memory/recall, communicate effectively, demonstrate adaptability, hear clearly, use depth perception, color vision, and visual acuity, frequent push/pull with arms and legs, twist, lift/carry 5-50 lbs., perform repetitive motion, seldom lift/carry 51+ lbs., utilize tools and equipment such as saws (table, panel, and radial arm), routers, grinders, manual and power hand tools, overhead lift equipment, micrometers, tape measures, scales, air hoses, calculators, computers, and software.
