<p>Internships provide practical ministry experience and assistance to assigned staff.</p> <p>Qualifications For responsible young adults looking for assurance of a call to ministry, including:</p> <ul> <li>Have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ </li><li>Support the leadership of a Pastor Led, Deacon Served, Staff Equipped, Committee Supported and Congregation Affirmed Church </li><li>Confirm the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 as statement of belief </li><li>Uphold the unity of the church in the bonds of peace (Ephesians 4:3) </li><li>Be able to share the Gospel </li><li>Possess effective communication and organization skills Description of Responsibilities: </li><li>20 office hours per week and Sunday mornings, special events, and availability on Wednesday and Sunday evenings </li><li>Report to the Associate Pastor </li><li>Assist church staff as assigned </li><li>Embody the spirit and biblical example of servanthood </li><li>Recruit, equip, empower, organize, and oversee volunteers </li><li>Execute special assignments from Senior Pastor </li><li>Develop a competency in FBB Ministry Cycle: planning, recruiting, communicating, training, promoting, executing, follow-up and assimilating, celebrating, and evaluating.
