<p>The Gift Shop Attendant is responsible for assisting in merchandise sales and providing outstanding customer service while ensuring that every customer feels welcome at the store.</p> <p>Duties:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Actively engage customers in conversation.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in understanding, demonstration, description, and selection of merchandise.</p> </li><li> <p>Utilize a working knowledge of all retail merchandise including price, any special product, stock location in store and back stockroom.</p> </li><li> <p>Process transactions quickly and accurately.</p> </li><li> <p>Accurately execute any merchandise returns and/or exchanges.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure store appearance remains neat and organized.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Must be at least 21 years of age.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to obtain an Alcohol Awareness license.</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum six months' experience in a retail/customer service environment required.</p> </li><li> <p>Working knowledge of cashiering and receipt processing.</p> </li><li> <p>Able to bend and walk for long periods of time and lift up to 15 lbs.</p> </li><li> <p>Able to speak, read and write in English.</p> </li></ul>
