Our certified and highly-skilled teams specialize in structural steel design, engineering, detailing, fabrication, erection and retrofit to existing structural members.</p> <p>Position Overview</p> <p>The Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting in project management including administrative and technical support to the Field Operations Team.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate with the field leadership team to support the overall process of Structural Steel Erection and Miscellaneous Metals Installation on multiple projects </li><li>Prepare, coordinate, review, and execute field installation/ erection submittals, sub-contracts, blueprints/drawings, and other critical documents </li><li>Communicate and coordinate with project management & field operations team to maintain schedule and delivery of materials </li><li>Assist in establishing schedules that include preconstruction planning, submittals, shipping, erection, and closeout procedures </li><li>Assist Field Teams in performing and documenting project badging requirements </li><li>Effectively organize and maintain documents for the project file </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>2-4 year post-secondary degree in a related field preferred </li><li>Prior experience in construction or steel fabrication/erection preferred </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required; scheduling software (Microsoft Project, Primavera) preferred </li><li>Valid US driver's license is required </li><li>Knowledge of Trimble and Bluebeam software programs is a plus </li><li>Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in steel construction </li><li>Knowledge of safety, quality, and cost control standards and procedures </li><li>Ability to understand and apply varying levels of mathematics relevant to the position </li><li>Possess at minimum the tools as required to field measure, verify, and audit basic conformity standards </li></ul> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer: All qualified applicants are encouraged to apply.</p> <p>Kinsley Steel, Inc. is a Drug Free Workplace where post-offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.</p> <p>Kinsley Steel, Inc. is a participant in the Federal E-Verify Program.</p>
