<p>Coordinates and provides care for a group of patients spanning all age groups and cultures for a designated time frame using therapeutic means, the laboratory process, the environment/instrumentation and other health care team members while assuming responsibility and accountability for these patients; responsibilities are to provide patient care in an ambulatory care setting under the clinical supervision of a physician or MD within the guidelines of nursing process and nurse practitioner protocols as outlined in Patient Care Guidelines for Nurse Practitioners.</p> <p>Report to: Medical Director and Practice Manager (Administratively)</p> <p>Manages: N/A</p> <p>Coordinates Assignments, Workflow, and Activities/Provides for Guidance: Medical Assistant</p> <p>Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Graduate of an accredited school, master prepared with a degree as a Nurse Practitioner Massachusetts licensure. </li><li>Departmental specialized training to provide care to patients within role and successful completion of SMH orientation program </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Command of verbal and written English </li><li>Operation of clinical equipment demonstrates clinical competence, </li><li>Positive interpersonal communication skills and good organizational skills </li><li>Three to five years medical office experience </li></ul> <p>Educational Requirements: Master in Science in Nursing/Nurse Practitioner</p> <p>License/Certification: CPR certification.
